My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming inn. It is our new favorite place in Benicia and plan to return in the future. Breakfast each day was amazing. The Innkeepers went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The view is wonderful, location perfect - shops & restaurants walkable.

We, my husband & myself, enjoyed our stay, it's a lovely family run b&b. There are stairs from ground to check in, and from the first floor to the second floor. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay. There is a lovely walking trail along the bay a few steps from the front of the Inn. Front of the first floor also has a lovely patio for relaxing on. There are shops and more within walking distance. We didn't make it to any of them, as we had other places to be. Our suite was clean and well set up. We had both a small sitting area, sleeping area, and a petite bathroom with shower. The chairs in the seating area were very comfortable. The keurig took a minute to warm up, but once it did, it made a nice cup of coffee. The better coffee was waiting downstairs in the breakfast room. There's also a mini fridge in the room. There were also other complimentary beverages in the main check in area. Our bed was super comfortable. Just the right mix of firm & soft that leads to a great nites sleep. Decor is a mix of periods, which for me added a charm that is missing from many chain hotels.

I am currently staying here and my experience has been SO great I had to write a review immediately. First off, the location is perfect. Walking distance to so many great spots, and right outside is a gorgeous view of the water with trail. The rooms and decor make you feel right at home and so does the staff. To say they have been accommodating is an understatement. They treat you like family! I can't wait to come back some day. If you are debating on where to stay, it's here!

What an absolute FIND. My wife and I stayed here on a Sunday night, and we stayed in the Pink Palace room (on the southwest corner, upstairs with a balcony). The views were fantastic, and the room had tons of character and comfort. Christina was so hospitable and sweet. We were welcomed with a complimentary beverage, and she accommodated my wife's and my request for an early check-in so that we could attend an afternoon concert in Concord. She also prepared us an omelette breakfast with healthy options on the side. Shorelight has an unbeatable location ~ central to all the charming businesses downtown... and next to the waterfront foot path. Parking was a breeze. Price was very fair. Will be staying here again.

I wanted somewhere to stay and relax after some minor surgery and we couldn’t have found a better gem. We were beyond impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property including our room. We stayed in the Sunset Suite with a partial view of the water and it was still a delightful view. The bed was super comfy and the bed dressings were also very comfortable. The room had lots of space and if you enjoy looking at vintage items like myself you are in for a treat. Breakfast was incredible. They served a variety of homemade hot food. They also had a fruit and cheese selection for breakfast. Upon entry there is a bar with complimentary wine and the lobby was also filled with vintage items to adore. They offered free drinks ( beer, wine, water, juice) amongst some other things. There is so much more to be said coming from a person who has managed hotels before and always reviews my stays this place was A+++! Customer service was great and the place was quiet and relaxing! I could go on and on but you will have to take a peek for yourself to fully experience how great this place was. We will be booking more times in the future- thanks for a great stay!
